New Holistic Consults

Our new vet Shelley Doxey has a keen interest in pain management especially in those older patients who are suffering with osteoarthritis. Her pain clinics offer acupuncture along with laser therapy for our pets. These are both very safe treatments that can be used alongside conventional pain medications and can have remarkable results.

Shelley also holds a diploma in veterinary western herbal medicine being one of only two vets in the UK to have trained to this level, and is also involved in training other vets in using this medicine. Shelley offers holistic consultations in which she will assess each individual patient and give advice on appropriate nutrition, supplements and be able to prescribe western herbal medicine for their needs.

Shelley not only is able to offer these services to Foxcotte clients but, will happily take referrals from other veterinary practices and work with them to provide the best support possible for our pets.
