Dr Emma-Louise Waller

‘Emmie’ qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2012 with the Hill’s Clinical Prize in Small Animal Studies and Derek Knottenbelt Prize for Equine Medicine. Subsequently, she has held several positions including a clinical directorship within both equine and small animal veterinary practice.

After quickly acquiring an interest in cardiology when her own German Shorthaired Pointer was diagnosed with heart disease, Emmie has been developing her skill set ever since, focusing on veterinary cardiology in practice for several years before setting up as a peripatetic cardiologist. Emmie was awarded the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Certificate in Veterinary Cardiology and is currently applying for Advanced Practitioner Status.

Outside work, Emmie can be found on a netball court or spending time with her family and their ever-loyal Rhodesian Ridgeback Rhaegar.
